Transfer Families Ribbon Panel
Tools are provided for transferring both Loadable and System type families from the warehouse files into your project Revit files.
They can also be used for transferring data from your own company family repositories or project files.
To use do the following:

Ensure a project Revit file is open

In the same Revit session open a warehouse file or another Revit file view you would like to transfer data from

Select either the Transfer System Families or Transfer Loadable Families button to suit the type of family you would like to transfer

Click individually on each family you would like to transfer then Finish when done as shown below.

A dialogue will appear requesting the project file you would like to transfer the data into. Simply select the project, Project 1 in the example below, and click Transfer.

Finally you will receive another dialogue reporting the items that have been transferred to your project as below, click OK to complete.
The data can then be accessed from the relevant category of the Families browser in the target project file.
