Levels & Coordinates Ribbon Panel

Hover the mouse pointer over the ribbon button for additional information on the command.

Various types of level and coordinate related blocks are provided. Select the required block type and scale, then click the position of the block within the drawing.

Two horizontal type level blocks are available, Triangular and Circular, both designed to be used for floor levels on elevation and section type drawings. Use the blue grips to stretch the level line to the desired length and adjust the visibility states to set the correct floor level. The level value is an attributed block which requires filling out.

The Spot Level Elevation can be flipped up and down to show levels above and below.

The Spot Level Plan should be used for floor levels in specific areas, enter the level in the attributed block.

Insert the Spot Coordinate block for adding Northing / Easting coordinates to the drawing. To update the coordinates, click the UPDATE COORDS button.

Warning – we recommend the UPDATE COORDS tool should only be used when the drawing is set to World UCS. Each UCS has its own base point and therefore using different UCS’s will give different values to the coordinates when updating.

The text font, size and layers will all be set automatically to the MonkeyFlow standard.

Generally, scales from 1:1 to 1:2500 have been provided, the default option for each command on the ribbon is 1:100.

Warning – when using the elevation / section level arrow block that flips (MFL-ANO-LevelSpot-Elev-Flip), we recomend having MIRRTEXT set to 0 to maintain the text visibility and preventing it mirroring.
